Jasprit Bumrah has been awarded the ICC Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year for 2024 after his remarkable performance in the longest format of the game. The Indian Pacer has a stellar year in both home ground matches and away conditions, in which he claimed 71 wickets in 13 matches with an outstanding average of 14.92.

His performance was outstanding in both home games and away games, having his absolute dominance in Test Cricket. He has been the major weapon for Indian Cricket Team, playing a key role in all formats of game. Bumrah’s standout performance came during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, where he picked up 30 wickets with one match still to play. He also reached the milestone of 200 Test wickets during the series, becoming the fastest Indian to do so. Jasprit has also lead the team in the absence of Indian Captain Rohit Sharma for the first Test in Perth. He spearheaded a 295-run victory with a five-wicket haul in the first innings and crucial wickets in the second, firmly turning the game in India’s favor.
